She then furthered her training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Mount Sinai Beth Israel / Jacobi in New York, and received Doctor of Medicine degree concurrently at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

In the past few years Dr. Shaw has been practicing as an associate surgeon at a private practice in New Jersey mastering and perfecting her techniques, and actively pursuing board certification.

She relocated to California with her husband after their son was born. She enjoys spending her time outside of the office with her family. She enjoys hiking, jogging, kayaking, swimming, visiting playgrounds and zoo with her son, and eating all things vegetarian.

Dr. Shaw hopes to establish good rapport with all her patients. She constantly strives to build long lasting doctor-patient relationships with mutual trust and respect by providing treatment that is best suited for her patients’ individual needs.
