Chemical Peel

Chemical peel uses a process whereby a chemical solution is applied to the desired area.  This procedure improves and smoothes the texture of the facial skin by removing its damaged outer layers. It is helpful for those individuals with facial blemishes, fine surface wrinkles, and uneven skin pigmentation. The results of a TCA peel are usually less dramatic than and not as long lasting as those of a laser resurfacing, however the post-operative recovery time is also less. Sometimes, more than one TCA peel may be needed to achieve the desired result.
