Dr. Brandon Christensen
Sacramento Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Brandon Christensen is a dedicated oral and maxillofacial surgeon who
is committed to providing the treatment and care that best serves his
patients. He practices the full scope of the oral and maxillofacial profession.
His clinical interests include: wisdom tooth extractions, dental implant
surgery and bone grafting, facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, oral pathology,
treatment of TMJ disorders, and IV sedation/general anesthesia.
Dr. Christensen was raised in southwestern Idaho. He finished his undergrad
in Molecular Biology at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and earned
his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
He graduated Cum Laude and Summa Cum Laude respectively. He then earned
his Oral and Maxillofacial Certificate from Emory University School of
Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Christensen entered into the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery
to be challenged and help others in his community. These desires have
been reflected in his life as he became an Eagle Scout, served as a missionary
for his church for two years, and completed dental missions and cleft
lip and palate missions in South America. His travels have pushed him
to become fluent in Spanish,

Dr. Christensen is an active member of the American Association of Oral
and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, and the California
Dental Association. He has active certificates in Advanced Cardiac Life
Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support.
In his free time, Dr. Christensen loves spending time with his wife, Erika,
and three children, hiking, visiting the mountains (especially Tahoe),
